After download the installation file above, you can begin the setup
process and simply follow the step-by-step instructions there.
You are free to install YR˛ in any directory you wish
on the same drive as you have Yuri's Revenge installed.
You must have Yuri's Revenge installed
to play
YR˛. After installation is completed, follow these
steps to play the mod:

Make sure that
you have the Yuri's Revenge CD in your CD/DVD Drive.

Click on the
Start menu and go to All Programs (or Programs)
>
YR Squared > YR Squared.

After a short
load (it may appear that nothing is happening, but do not
run the program again, it is loading), the launcher program
should appear on-screen. Click on 'Mod' to play!
YR˛ makes no permanent changes to
your game! When you quit the game you will be asked if you
wish to deactivate the mod. Most of the time you will click
'Yes' here so you can have full access to the original Yuri's
Revenge until you want to play YR˛ again.
But there might be times when you want to keep YR˛
active even after you quit the game. If you click 'No' instead
of 'Yes' the mod will stay activated, which means that with every time you
play Yuri's Revenge from now on (even running the game
normally), YR˛ will continue to be activated.
The only way to deactivate the mod again would be to click 'Yes' the
next time you run and quit YR˛. There should only be two
scenarios which would make you wish to click 'No':

If you want to keep the mod files active to
modify them yourself. I have no objection to you doing
this if you know what you are doing, although I ask that you do
not release modified copies of YR˛
publically.

To uninstall YR˛ completely, follow
these steps:

Click on the Start menu and go to
All Programs (or Programs) > YR Squared > Uninstall.

Follow the on-screen instructions.
