How do you want YR˛ to be released? [122 votes total]
  • I'll wait for the full thing to enjoy! (57)
  • Release it now with new versions later! (39)
  • Either way works for me. (26)

Some Fan Comments:

  • ra2yr fan: I think it should be released with updates later so that everyone can get an idea of what the mod is like.
  • YuriTD88: That's what everybody wants... But! If you guys were a going to play the betas we had till now, you would only be playing a glitch mod. Luckily MOST of them are easily fixed.  Well, actually almost all. And we haven't noticed a new bug for a long time. It IS good now. But MooMan is going to add new game modes, which needs good beta testing too.  But I still do not care if he releases it or not, it's his choice if he want it to be released with bugs or without.  Every mod starts with bugs, that's why there are beta testers. To get a feeling of how the mod is, we make screenshots and provide you with information on current changes.  Also a note, I find YR˛ the best mod till now. It's great, just like CannisRules. Also, without modifications to the AI of YR˛, the AI is harder. Can you imagine how it will be with modifications? :)
  • zero2: I know I don't have Beta status but as a player, we want 100% enjoyment....  So we should wait until the full package is finished.  Sending 2 phases?  I mean release the mod 80% finished and complete it later?
  • flak: ...Surprise factor? The mod will be less enjoyable in my opinion if you already get to play it with just a few things left out.
  • avtj91: Do like you did to MooMan's Rules.  Release it now and versions later.
  • UberC: Have you ever considered making just the full version of YR2 then making optional "Expansion Mods" that would run off Yr2.. For instance "Yr2 Jungle Combat"/ "Yr2 Intergalactic Buggaloo" or what not..
  • ComradeJ: Better release it when it's fully done. Not only is it annoying to keep downloading new versions, if the first version is bad, the reputation of the mod will be entirely ruined, even if you manage to improve it later on.
  • IceByte: I think it would be best to wait. Think about waiting for something you want. The longer you want it the more enjoyable it is when u can play it :D
  • StonerMk2: In my opinion I would rather wait for full version and not have to download a bunch of damn updates later...  b/c they are really annoying...  I mean say u go to play online one day and holy shit there's an update u got to download..  And 2 weeks later another update.....  I would just find that really annoying...  So I think its best to be surprised and wait.
