| Are mods the only reason why you still
play RA2/YR? [224 votes total]
Some Fan Comments:
- Adrian: The only mods i have ever
downloaded were just after the game came out ages ago (just after ra2 came out) they
sucked :-). But now, looking at some of these mods they look pretty
good :-).
- mcgl0re1: Mods are the only reason that
my Ra2/YR Cd-Roms don't have dust on them! With so many great mods being released, that
have had a lot of hard work put in them, it is hard not to enjoy them!
- sterio: I play mods but mainly I play the
original version...
- DeafWasp: I just got back into after
being sick of FPS games. RTS is where its at right now.
I play to have fun and think, I make maps and play em. like the ones i made as Sydwindr.
- Snipe26: I don't really think RA2 is that
good of a game (RA1 and TD are much better) But it is easy to mod and there are a few good
ones out there. There is also a lot of unused stuff in RA2 that you can use in a mod.
- chickendippers: No, I've never downloaded
mods for some reason, maybe I should?
- Blkwaltz3: Here's what I think. Have you
ever played a game (PC or Console) put it down because it got "Old", only to
pick it up again in about a week? Or the sequel to a game was out or coming and you wanted
to practice up or get the nostalgic feeling again? well, that's why I play. Generals is
coming up and I am so full of anticipation that I have to have some kind of CNC fix. Heck,
I still fire up Tiberian Dawn and RA1 every once in a while. I even have them on my Laptop
and play them at times when I'm not supposed to...like work and stuff. :D
